An independent anime & manga tracking platform built in Strasbourg, France — by a 16-year-old developer with a dream of Japan.
Our Story
MiraiTrack started in 2024 in a Strasbourg apartment. I was tired of manually tracking episodes across different streaming sites. No existing tool felt right — some were bloated, others sold your data. So I built my own.
The name "Mirai" (未来) means "future" in Japanese. It reflects both the forward-looking tech behind the platform and my long-term goal: establishing MiraiTrack in Tokyo, bridging French and Japanese anime communities.

Technology
Next.js + React frontend. PHP backend with MySQL. AniList API for catalog data. Client-side recommendation engine using localStorage — your taste profile never leaves your device.
Privacy & GDPR
Data never sold. Passwords hashed with bcrypt. JWT signed with HMAC-SHA256. Stripe for payments (PCI-DSS). Full GDPR rights: export, delete, access. Privacy policy.
Premium
MiraiTrack is free and feature-complete. Premium adds cosmetics: animated banner, custom color, exclusive badges, ad-free experience, and early access to new features. Cancel anytime.
